There's a thread at the moment about Fingersmith. That's got a twist half way through that I really didn't see coming. It had me completely stunned.

Not a straightforward thriller but Fingersmith by Sarah Waters twists and turns like a twisty-turny thing. VG

Fingersmith thread was mine yes brilliant twist.

SplitInfinitive · 12/05/2017 15:38

We Were Liars by E Lockhart. I didn't see the twist coming at all.

AnneLovesGilbert · 12/05/2017 15:40

I Let You Go. Twistiest book ever.

AnneLovesGilbert · 12/05/2017 15:44

I'm reading Behind Closed Doors atm and it's so atmospheric with the underlying evil I'm not sure I can finish it... I'm a big wuss.

Is it worth it OP? And am I going to have nightmares along the way?

For gentler but still intriguing twists, I couldn't love Liane Moriarty more. The Husband's Secret was her big bestseller but they're all excellent.

midsomermurderess · 12/05/2017 16:28

The Good Girl is quite twisty, right at the end, if all falls into place, what really happened.

Presleyx · 13/05/2017 00:25

Ooh I've read a few of hers I loved them! I'd keep going I found it a really good read i was the same as you but I just couldn't put it down I had to see how it all panned out and I'm glad I did.

I enjoyed all those books yoy have mentioned. I've just finished 2 good psychological thrillers. The first Sister Sister b Sue Fortin, some bits a little predictable but I still enjoyed it. The second was Silent Child by Sarah A. Denzil which I couldn't put down.

My Sisters Bones by Nuala Ellwood, I thought it was bloody brilliant! It kept me hooked the whole way through and I think I went through every emotion when reading it.

ChocolateCherries · 15/05/2017 19:42

We are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler has a great twist.

Matilda2013 · 15/05/2017 19:44

Daisy in Chains by Sharon Bolton

Clawdy · 16/05/2017 21:21

The Burning Air by Erin Kelly - I'm pretty good at spotting twists but this one really made me gasp....

Cherryberrypie · 21/05/2017 03:35

Little Face by Sophie Hannah or any of her books really. Very twisty

Possum78 · 22/05/2017 22:40
