I'm reading this at the moment and really enjoying it

Call it Dog

Haven't finished yet - but so far it's a very interesting story, with thought provoking themes. her writing style is very readable with good complex characters. Would make a good book club read too I think - lots to discuss.

Bumping this because I've finished it now and it was really good. If you are interested in books about father daughter relationships, questions of loyalty and post apartheid South Africa, then it's the book for you

Her writing is remarkably mature and insightful for someone of her age (29 when she wrote it). Ace for gaining a little more understanding about S Africa, plot was a tiny bit rambling...
