Can anyone recommend novels for me set in one of my three favourite places?

Wales - modern or historical
Glastonbury - modern, historical, Pagan or fantasy
Ancient Egypt

Thanks

Have you read Sharon Penman's Welsh Princes trilogy beginning with Here Be Dragons? It's about the Welsh Princes of medieval Gywnedd - set in the time of Richard the Lionheart/King John. A great read.

For Glastonbury, have you read The Universe Versus Alex Woods by Gavin Extence?

Wilbur Smith has a a very good Egyptian series - the first one is called River God.

Was just going to say River God - I was always quite sniffy about Wilbur Smith but then picked this up on holiday - someone had left it - absolutely loved it. Never read any more Wilbur Smith - more of a Stephen King girl.

Hadn't realised there was a series - just bought the second one from Amazon - MN Books section and Style and Beauty are NOT good for my bank account!

Was also going to suggest Sharon Penman.

Two WW2 books set in Wales: The Welsh Girl by Peter Ho Davies and Resistance by Owen Sheers

I also have The Hiding Place by Trezza Azzopardi marked on Goodreads, although I haven't read it. It was a Booker shortlist book a while back.

Barbara Erskine Lady of Hay. Timeslip romance, but fairly supernatural and quite gripping. Also long, so decent value. And it was a huge success so your chances of finding one on a charity stall are good.

Back home by Bethan Darwin

Aberystwyth Mon Amour, set in Aberystwyth, obvs! Very good and funny, enjoy!

It's by Malcolm Pryce
