Books with lots of Flirting..

..you know the banter, the humour, the romance but it doesn't essentially have to be a romantic book. I love crime books too.

Lynda last Plante, Anna Travis and Langton
Behind closed doors
Martine Cole, the lady killer
...but as well Behind Closed doors, fifty shades, beautiful disaster.
Anything witty and can't put it down ..any recommendations would be appreciated

The Roy Grace series by Peter James are excellent, I had to intersperse them with other books to stop me reading 1-12 in succession! I like some of the books you mention so you might enjoy these

Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels are witty, lots of banter, and very enjoyable.

@toffeepuddin if you liked Fifty Shades, give the Helen Hardt series a go. I gave up with Fifty Shades and read Helen's Craving book in 4 nights, really enjoyed it.

I signed up for the Kindle unlimited and unfortunately I ave to buy hers so I get one a month as a treat. :)

I am though, currently reading LJ Shen's 'Vicious' and I can't get enough of it - so good.

Adele Parks is pretty good on analysing male/female interactions I think. She is quite psychologically minded, although with the last one I read, The State We're In, the plot was a bit clunking.

It's interesting what you mean by "flirting". I can see Pride and Prejudice might fit, but personally, in my late teens and early 20s, I would have found it so very unattractive for some snobby, privileged twat to be disparaging my family. No matter how massive his mansion was. I have therefore struggled to see much appeal in Darcy.

There is charming and witty but rather sexless flirting in the Importance of Being Earnest.

Benedick and Beatrice have something quite cool going on.

I have just finished Maestra by Lisa Hilton. A fair bit of sex but not much flirting.

Mind you, these days, a heroine who did not put out for a whole novel might well come over as very coy, and unresolved sexual tension is a driver for flirting.

by the way is 50 shades witty? Haven't read it, but wouldn't have expected wit!
