Just finished this. The ending is really confusing as there are two different time periods but the writing is really really good.

Chris Pavone's The Expats? I wasn't so taken with it, although I think I am in the minority. Here's my review if you are interested www.tripfiction.com/novel-set-in-luxembourg-cobblestony-old-europe-e-book-version/ The Travelers was to my mind a lot better...
