My latest crazy theory:

Lily is in fact adopted. Snape was not in love with Lily but is actually related to her in some way, maybe she didn't know. Ergo, Snape is related to Harry?

LazyLine · 02/03/2007 18:49

Or, Harry's eyes are the Horcrux and he will be left BLIND!

Charleesunnysunsun · 02/03/2007 18:57

Ohh i cant wait!

Greensleeves · 02/03/2007 18:59

Snape was porking Lily

They bewitched the baby to look like James so no-one would know, but Snape insisted the baby keep his mother's eyes, because they were his favourite bit of her

LazyLine · 02/03/2007 19:01

LOL Greensleeves! Do you think that they might use the word "pork" in the book?

Charleesunnysunsun · 02/03/2007 19:04

Probably not 'pork' maybe 'bone' or 'bang?'

DumbledoresGirl · 02/03/2007 19:05

Greeny, that was my theory on one of the earlier threads on this subject. It is what makes Snape's loyalty to the order of the Phoenix so cast-iron (Dumbledore knew something about Snape that we don't yet know) and also explains why Snape so loathes James and all references Harry makes to James as his father.

Greensleeves · 02/03/2007 19:07

Exactly!! And hates Harry because his mother died saving him, and explains why she is ceaselessly banging on about him having his mother's eyes

DumbledoresGirl · 02/03/2007 19:09

Yeah, I am with you 100%. Right, that is that sorted. How much of the royalties do you think we can claim?

Blandmum · 02/03/2007 19:10

Re Snape porking Lily. Puts a whole new spin on 'Fancy wand work'

OP posts:
Greensleeves · 02/03/2007 19:12

Well the first thing I need to do is arrange for you to have a "little accident", DG, and then I'll think about getting my hands on the royalties

DumbledoresGirl · 02/03/2007 19:13

Trouble is Greeny, you have just declared your intentions on the www. I think you might find yourself in Holloway first!

Greensleeves · 02/03/2007 19:14

Aw shucks

It's these damn pesky kids, I used to have a brain at one time you know

Greensleeves · 02/03/2007 19:20

Yes, but the HP books are resolutely formulaic. That's why they are so successful IMO.

DumbledoresGirl · 02/03/2007 19:21

Yes and the old ideas are usually the best....

LazyLine · 02/03/2007 20:30

Esp with the wand/lightsabre thing going on.... I don't want Snape to fall off anything though

Nikki76 · 02/03/2007 20:35

R.A.B - Regulus Black - Sirus Black's brother that was killed by Voldemort??? Poss after destroying the Horcrux?

Have told DH he's having DS on the release date and that the only interruptions I'll tolerate are for food and the loo!! lol!!
