On a book buying ban

My NYR is to read all the unread books in my house before buying any new books. As my book buying habit is OUT OF CONTROL! If anything remains unread at the end of the year they are going to the charity shop. I've counted 86...but some of these I've had for decades and my enthusiasm is ... muted. Was just wondering if anyone was/would like to do something similar & wanted to join me for mutual encouragement?

I joined the ban but have to confess I have fallen off the wagon! Bought A Place Called Winter and The Noise of Time. Both worth the fall from grace!
