So angry at myself!

Was looking for a new series to get lost in during the holidays. Something chick flicky,long and funny. Up to date with all my series. So trawling amazon found one that sounded good. Instead of just getting the first one,the stupid in me impulse bought the whole series. Started the first book and it's awful. Painstakingly boring,haven't even laughed once and i keep reading purely cause i've spent the money. At chapter 18 and i haven't even smiled,much less laughed. It's not just the lack of dialogue(lunch with friend chapter consists of the preps before,the food,some interior monologues and only about 4 lines between the supposedly best friends) and action,it's the long descriptions of going to the toilet,having a bath,choosing an outfit,driving into work etc. All the mundane things.
Just hoping the books will get better somehow. Arghhh

Assume it's a real book, if it was a kindle or Audible you could send back for a refund.

Actually, try for a refund anyway, on the ground that they are pants. (You might have to pay postage)

I know you can get a refund. They can see how far you've read and just take it back.

Should i contact their customer service then? As i can't see an option on my account. Do i just tell them the book is crap?

I think you can do it from the Kindle, but I think the easiest way is to go to your account on the main website, go to Manage your Content and Devices. Find the book you want to return, select it and there will be an Actions option - Return for refund should be there.

I recently returned The Hive by Gill Hornby - Utter bilge.

I just had a look at the options to return a book and "It's crap" isn't there, but you could go for "Accidental Purchase" or simply "Other"

I thought you could get a refund within 30 days. Try clicking in that box on the left under actions. On mine it's in there.
