Recommendations for really good True Crime novels?

I love watching true crime documentaries, Crime channel is my favourite! However I've never read a True Crime novel, wondering which one I should start with? What are some that you have liked?
In Cold Blood is on my list already but wondering what are some other really good ones?

I will admit to not having read many but I found Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule enthralling and terrifying in equal measures.

I've heard so much about Ann Rule's books! Will check it out thanks!

What is a true crime novel?

I read this years ago and was gripped by it!

pinkpompoms omg is that the story of Colleen Stan?! DH and I just watched a two part documentary on her ordeal just the other day! It was truly horrifying what she went through!

mscongeniality Yes it is her story, it is pretty grim!
