Has anybody read this? A review that I saw said that he discusses the traits that our children will need when facing the changing global landscape with its increasing competition and growing opportunities. Chief among the attributes he emphasises are passion, curiosity and empathy. The secret of success will be less how much a person has learned and more how well he/she knows how to learn. The ability to learn and the passion for new knowledge/skills are critical if a person is going to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
I find this fascinating as I am a firm believer in life-long learning and I do ponder on the global competition that my DTS will face when they eventually start thinking about qualifications, careers, etc.
