Beautiful Book Sources

Where do you buy beautiful books? I have a kindle which I use for most of my day-to-day reading, so I'd like to build up my collection with books that I love and those that are really beautiful.

I know of the folio society, and of Penguin clothbound classics, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Ideally, I'd like ones that are normal book sized, so I can still read them.

Have a look at Persephone books. Mainly rediscovered classics by women writers from the last hundred years.

Some have plain grey covers, but the ones to look for are those covered in vintage wallpaper designs or paintings from the period. They are really lovely. You can also get bookmarks to match.

Waterstones usually have a small selection of classics in lovely bindings.
