Looking for recommendations for well written longer form fanfic

Noticed a mention on the 50 books thread - so as I didn't see any others I thought I'd kick off a thread asking for recs. With links please!

I'm not interested in fanfic about sex/romance/relationships, so that kinda cuts things down rather dramatically - I suppose I should try to find some examples of stuff I like, but tbh I will happily read well-written stuff where I have no clue about the source material.

Are you open to some relationship stuff, with a focus on other things? This is a fanfic I still remember two years after reading it - it's political and insightful and subversive, and much more grown up than the source material (Harry Potter). In general, all kellychambliss' stuff is excellent.

Political and insightful and subversive sounds great Solemnly - I don't mind there being some relationship stuff, but not keen on fics where that's the main point.
