Cathp808 · 10/11/2016 18:22

Yes and I really liked it. The opening few pages are a bit violent and I was not sure if I wanted to read it but I am glad I did. It is like sixth sense but with more humour. The main character Mahony wants to find out what happened to his teenage mother who disappeared when he was a baby. The story is set in the 1970’s which I found strange at first but I guess if it was set in today’s world Mahony would just search for information about his mother on the internet which would not be so interesting. A character that steals the limelight is the fantastic Mrs Cauley a very eccentric Miss Marple who is followed around by the ghost of an ex-love. I think everyone needs a Mrs Cauley in their life! It is a well written book that I would highly recommend. Star Smile Star Smile Star Smile Star

iamsaranna · 10/11/2016 19:53

A really interesting story line, I liked the way the dead drifted among the living, sometimes though it is really scary.

glennamy · 10/11/2016 20:13

It is a very good read with many interesting characters... and reflects what a person had to do to track people pre internet days. :)

was a bit violent at the start and I thought I would not like it, but I persevered and glad I did, it was a gritty read which made me think what life can throw at you.
