I've just finished the new Paul Finch book Strangers. I loved it and love that the central figure is a woman PC Lucy Clayburn
But what next?
I've read all the Susan Hill books and Paul Finchs Heck series.
Now I'm a bit stumped.

Have you read the Robert Galbraith/J K Rowling series (Cormoran Strike)? There's three so far. And perhaps Tony Parsons's Max Wolfe Series? Or M J Arlidge's D I Helen Grace series?

Ooh I love the heck books and can't wait to read this.
I'm currently racing through the M J Arlidge books, they are really good, and central figure again a woman DI Helen Grace. So yeah I echo mermaid

I've read the Robert Galbraith and LOVED them and the Max Wolfe. Thought Max Wolfe was ok. It grated a bit that a cop managed to live in such an amazing flat in a very expensive part of London. But I will look at M J Arlidge thank you.
Bagel Strangers is really good I loved it and read it really quickly as I neglected my kids etc.
