Not Disc Worldly, but very much in the vein of Pratchett humour and fantasy ....

Carpet Diem, by Justin LeeAnderson

I picked it up on my Kindle for a quiz and now really wish the bloody guy who wrote it would write more stuff.

It's has Angels, Demons and a chap in the wrong place at the wrong time.irealky enjoyed it.

Tom Holt you'd probably start with Expecting Someone Taller and then try to go chronologically depending on what your local library happens to have in stock. Like Pratchett in that some of them are completely standalone and some make up mini series which are best read in order. Frankly not as good, but still worth a read.

Thank you for this! Am really missing SirTP! Can never decide who my fav series were about and lurch between Sir Sam and the Watch, the Witches, Moist VL and his escapades and then theres Tiffany and the MacFeegles!

I can do better than recommend something similar - here's a new Pratchett out at the end of August.

Seems like the clock hasn't wound down and the ripples are still moving.

Neil Gaiman

He wrote Good Omens with TP and I think they're a very good match.

Have you read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

I read it before I ever read TP, and I though the styles very similar, especially in the earlier Discworld books.
