Can anyone outline the first three outlander novels please?

Basically I read the first three about three years ago but was studying for a degree and had another baby since then so didn't find time to read 'enjoyable' books (i.e not texts books). I now want to carry on where I left off but my memory of the main storyline is a bit hazy. Can anyone help? Or point me in the direction where I can find out. Thanks!

I can't decide whether I've read the fourth one or not. I think I will have to get it from the library and start reading to know properly...
