Perfume - Story of a Murderer

ODD! Just finished it. Anyone else read it? How on earth will that translate to the big screen? Review I read said they've done it credit but ... ODD!

I will not be seeing it on the big screen. No sireee. Dustin Hoffman is one reason the other is that it was book that ingited all the senses and I don't see how they will convey the distinct and subtle olfactory ones on the screen.

The thing that amazes me about the book is what a brilliant piece of translation it is. Not sure I would to the cinema to see the film, but probably wouldn't turn it off if it was on TV.

I have no idea how they are going to translate such a brilliant book onto the big screen... but I will go and see it.

I finished it in bed last night and it took my quite a while to get rid of that last image.
