I'm reading Val McDermids "Forensics. The anatomy of crime"

And it's really good! So many interesting things I never knew about and the cases she writes about..wow.

This was recommended to me by a colleague who has read alot of Val's books. I have never read any others or even crime novels so if anyone has anything to recommend please share.

If you like the forensics side try Kathy Reichs Temperence Brennan series.

Kathy Reichs is a Forensic Anthropologist who works in Charlotte in the USA and Quebec in Canada - so does her heroine in the books.

I love Val McDermid, I've read loads of her books but not that one so I will look it up.
I read a lot of crime novels, I like Michael Connelly and Jeffery Deaver too.
