My son is currently reading this and he loves it, it has a similar look to the horrid Henry books :)

maryandbuzz1 · 15/07/2016 06:55

A great book ...one which had us both in giggles throughout. We can't wait for another.

izbiz88 · 15/07/2016 07:28

My daughter absolutely loved this - she said it was really funny and wanted to read it again almost straight away :) She also insisted on reading it to her little sister but not sure she quite understood it if I'm honest!

Lisapaige24 · 15/07/2016 07:42

My children read this they absolutely loved it especially as all they want to live off is chicken nuggets themselves.

libra101 · 15/07/2016 08:04

My grandchildren loved 'The Jam Doughnut That Ruined my Life', and I bought a copy of 'The Chicken Nugget Ambush', which they equally enjoyed.

Mark Lowery paints a wonderful picture of children enjoying zany adventures, which can be enjoyed not only by children but adults as well.

Roll on the next adventure!

Not sure whether to feel sorry for Roman he doesn't have much luck, bless him. Look forward to reading his next adventure!!

glennamy · 15/07/2016 10:54

Very funny, my dd simply loves it too, which is great because the more the children enjoy reading the better!

stefalfie11 · 15/07/2016 11:14

One of the households favourite at the moment - read it night after night at bedtime!

carolineandryanandseb · 15/07/2016 11:28

not for us I'm afraid! Sorry, I guess you can't question the honesty of children- mine just had no interest, although I tried more than once. Maybe because we are vegetarian! ;)
