I am obsessed with her books .... On th second books of the Lucky series. Not sure what took me so long to try them....

I haven't read any of hers but always wanted to - which one would you recommend as a first read for a 'newbie'?

Try with Chances. It is the first of the Lucky series. So she wrote it in the 80's I think but is set from 1920's onwards.

If you have a kindle I think it's only 99p at the moment

read them all they are brilliant!! I was a massive fan of Jackie Collins in my younger days. I still have one Jackie Collins book in my bookshelf as homage to her great writing, ott characters - fab fun!

Ah! My namesake!

The Santangelo series is fab but American Star is my favourite of hers, I've read it countless times and still race through it because I can't but it down! Pure escapism reading.
