Is it supposed to be set out all over the place. Bits of sentences stopping and starting? It's unreadable and driving me nuts.

And is there a way to line it up properly?

It's meant to be like that and is the same in the print version. Drove me mad until I got to a point later in the book where the layout changed and it became clear why it was like that. It's been done for a reason but yes, it's annoying!
