Does this book actually exist outside of my memory?!

I read a book in primary (about 20yrs ago!) that I've being searching for for about 15yrs so any help to give me closure would be great! Basically it's a humorous book about a guest house and a plumber comes to stay, I remember reading about a piano and music in it but other than that no real details. I think the cover was royal blue background with a cartoon plumber man carrying a tool bag. The author name might include Harvey and/or Campbell but all searches of these have resulted in nothing. Any ideas?! (I promise I'm not crazy!)

Is it Mr Plug the plumber? There's a whole series of books,my ds loved them.here

Although looking at that link it appears the plumber has had a sex change since the late nineties anyway.

Ha ha, sex change indeed! I don't think it was a happy families book but will look into it a bit more in case it was. Thank you
