I've seen this recommended on here as a great book on parenting teenagers - it's reduced to 99p today on Kindle so thought I'd share!

I read it and thought it was great too, very useful in helping to understand my teenage DS.

That title alone sounds hilarious! and so true to life.......

I thought it was interesting, but for real world practical suggestions to make life better (rather than understanding why the problems!), I thought Divas and Doorslammers was more useful.

I will try your recommendation Sadik - I agree that 'Get out of my life ...' was a great read but it didn't really give any helpful advice (apart from accepting teenagers' behaviour as 'normal' and that the vast majority will turn out alright in the end ) - but it is just hell going through it.

I thought they worked well together - 'Get out of my life' helped me accept a lot of stuff as normal, 'Divas' helped me address the bits I still couldn't cope with
