Do no harm by Henry marsh - he's a retired brain surgeon and it is fascinating, honest and thought provoking.
Artemis cooper's bio of Paddy Leigh Fermor- beautifully done - what a fascinAting person- still half way through
And the last act of love by Cathy rentzenbrink - sad but uplifting with a link to the first book

What have you read on your time off or what are you planning to read?

Just wanted to say I loved Do No Harm. It was fascinating and upsetting in equal measures.

Have got Gut by Giulia Enders lined up to read soon along with a huge back log of books from my shelves Blush

If you loved Do No Harm, check out Reaching Down The Rabbit Hole. It is a far superior book, imho.
