So apparently Sir Terry Pratchett left ten unfinished novels

Which according to the Guardian article about his memorial, will never be finished or published in their current form.

Wouldn't you just love to know who was in them though?

Am now rereading my way through the Discworld and it makes me so sad to think that there'll never be any more. That when I read about these characters, that's the last they'll ever be. That their stories will never finish. Sad

I guess that's how it has to be. Nobody else could ever finish them.

Most authors will have unfinished works. He was a prolific writer so 10 seems reasonable.
Neil Gaiman could give finishing them a decent go.
Will always miss TP and his books.

Oh god I know.

I guess that's true of most writers, that they'll have unfinished works, but I'd love to know who he was planning to write about. I'd have loved to have had another adventure out of the witches, or see Young Sam grow up, or Carrot and Angua get married.

We could do that thing youngsters do these days and write our own endings. Particularly Harry Potter I believe. My kids enjoy it. It makes my eyes water, it's so bad. We could make a good job of TP!!

I thought Neil Gaiman, too.

Apparently he has said he never would. Which is fair enough. I'd just like to know who was in them. Here.

Neil Gaimen also said he wouldn't do the adaptation of Good Omens without TP. In this article says he got permission www.theguardian.com/books/tvandradioblog/2016/apr/15/good-omens-neil-gaiman-to-adapt-terry-pratchett-collaboration-for-tv
Which would make me wonder what other permissions have been made. I look forward to seeing lots of the books come to life on the screen. Small comfort but I hope it happens.

There's apparently quite a lot headed for tv. As long as it doesn't all go to bloody Sky again, we don't have it.
