has any one read any john saul books

I have looked on amazon but the last 2 on there don't have reviews has anyone read any?

I read The Right Hand of Evil on holiday once - it was really poor, can't remember exactly what, just remember thinking this is low quality fiction. Had to just scan through his website to remember the title and judging by the other books they all seem to follow a template of family move to haunted house in which something evil lies dormant.

I used to nick these from my sister and read them at school. I did read all of them but he started churning them out and I couldn't keep up. Some of his early ones were brilliant. Suffer the Children, Creature I remember. They are Horrorish.

I used to read them a lot. But haven't read any of his latest ones. so just need to know if he is still doing the same theme.
