My son is 7 and want to get a book that he can read about bullying and the best way to deal with them.

TIA

Just received Junior magazine this morning, a book is recommended called "When your child is bullied" An essential guide for parents" by Jenny Alexander published by Pocket Books £7.99 - apparently an updated version.

I know it is for parents but there may be useful stuff for your lo. HTH

Hi Bouncy,
Sorry to hear your son is having a rough time. I bought a book for my daughter called "Bullies, Big Mouths and so called friends" from Amazon. They did a pink covered version for girls and a blue one for boys.
My DD was 9 at the time and her experience was more big mouths and so called friends putting her down than physical bullying but I know she found the book useful - she still dips into it now.

Yes I can! A book called 'The Little Book Of Retorts- a teenager's guide to beating the bullies'. It gives lots of advice on improving confidence and standing up to bullies, with a great illustrated section containing loads of examples of actual retorts-what to say in reply to specific comments. It is suitable for children aged from 10 upwards, although I recently spoke to a Mum who said her 7 year old thought it was brilliant. It is available either as an ebook or in PDF version.
