I thought maybe we should have a thread where if someone sees a kindle deal that they think is really good for a book they have read they could recommend here. That way we can pick up new book recommendations at cheaper prices and grow our to be read list

I know I'm becoming a bit of a fiend for these kindle deals but thought I would share today's daily deal which I am looking forward to getting stuck into! This book The Women of Lilac Street by Annie Murray which is tale set in Birmingham (where I live) after the Great War.

Does nobody get ebooks from their library for free? Confused Ive just read the girl in the red coat (for free) and am now starting The Bees (for free). All you need is the free blue fire app or the free one click app for audiobooks.

Mariana by Susanna Kearsley is 99p on kindle. One of my absolute all time favourites. A lovely "time slip" novel and well worth a go.

Hey, Jackiekatu, those are my books! Thank you for that.

I've name changed though no doubt I'll slip up and write something incriminating under my other name. If you recognise my normal name, please don't put it on here.

In the last few months I've got an agent and some deals - UK, US, Russia, Germany and Poland so far. I've put my other two books on for free today, because I was talking to women at a book club yesterday and didn't want them to have to pay for them. They'll go back to £1.99 tomorrow (if I've set it right!)

Mary Torjussen, My Time, Your Time

Mary Torjussen, The Lonely Cool Before Dawn

The Ocean at the End of the Lane is 99p through June, by Neil Gaiman.

It's a beautifully written fantasy novel - a middle aged man goes back to his old family home and suddenly remembers the events that happened when he was seven.

Blackheath by Adam baron is £1.99, I haven't read it yet but it was recommended on a previous thread as a good fiction book that looks at realities of life with small children..
