I thought maybe we should have a thread where if someone sees a kindle deal that they think is really good for a book they have read they could recommend here. That way we can pick up new book recommendations at cheaper prices and grow our to be read list

Lucie Whitehouse's new book is available to pre-order at £2.39. It's unusual for a new book to be so cheap on kindle. The hardback is selling for £9.

A Man Called Ove is 99p during March. I really enjoyed it.

Had a middle of the night spending spree on the march daily deals. Downloaded Everyday Secism, Bill Bryson's Mother Tongue, Maggie o'farrell's After You'd Gone, and Ruby Wax's Sane New World... I'm assuming they were all on offer but haven't actually checked how much I spent...!!!

Olive Kitteridge is £1.99 at the moment and I really rate this novel. It won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction in 2009. I've read 20 books so far this year and this is still the best one.

Jenijena how did you get on with the Ruby Wax book? I am puzzling over whether to start that or 'The Girl who save the king of sweden'

The Thorn Birds by Coleen McCullough is 99p in daily deal today. A good old blockbuster from the 80s. Loved it and the tv series :)

I listened to the audio book of The Year of Living Danishly a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Recommended :)

The Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan is also in today's daily deal, and that was pretty good too.
