I'm on page 10 of Andre Alexis's novel and already in tears. It's funny and thought-provoking too.

It's a Valentine's present from DH, and I've already gone to the room where he's reading to tell him he won't be able to get far without the hankies.

Well, I finished it. Outstanding. If you're not a doggy-type, and I'm not, don't let it put you off. On the other hand, if you have a pet dog, as I do, you will blub a bit.
