Anyone read The Uninvited Guests?

By Sadie Jones? I read The Outcast and thought it was really good so I saw this in a charity shop so thought I'd get it. But it's nothing like The Outcast! It's rubbish in fact and I don't even know what the point of it is!! Just wondered if anyone else has read it and what they thought.

i read it (hadn't read her previous one) and thought it was...pretty much nothing. Agree no point. The blurb was so much better than the book.

DH bought it, thinking it would be a good ghost story which is something he really enjoys, but even he was defeated. His comment at the end was "wtf was that all about?"

Glad I'm not the only one who thought it then! And yes you're right the blurb on the back even made it sound good!

I gave up with it. Loved The Outcast so was very disappointed.

And yet Amazon even has some good reviews for it!
