Would anybody be kind enough to point me in the direction of books from Europe?

There was a thread, a while ago, about reading a book from each European country IIRC.
Does anybody else remember this?
I fancy giving it a go this year.
If not can we start a new list?

Here you go. That was a fab thread.

Thank you, your searching skills are much better than mine Grin
I will have a nice look through that tomorrow.

I was actually thinking that starting from scratch is quite hard. (As in, all the standards pop up.)

I was thinking of doing a less ambitious version of this for 2016-reading a book a month from a different European country. I used my Christmas book voucher to buy The Outsider by Albert Camus and My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante so that takes care of France and Italy. I haven't got any further with my list yet though.

I think that it would be much more beneficial to everyone to revive the old thread, with all those lovely books already listed.

Try us www.tripfiction.com ... choose your country, choose your town, even... and voilà. Plenty of in depth reviews on the site and on our blog. Happy 2016
