hope someone out there can help me find this book, as I think there was a sequel to it which I would like to read but don't know where to start.
My memory is sketchy, but it was about an engaged (?) couple that were english, and I think there is a shipwreck and they get separated, and somehow the girl ends up in a harem in Turkey I think. He eventually finds her (and there is something about him making a music box or similar for the sultan so ends up in the palace) but I can't remember how it ends!
Sorry for the lack of detail. I read it ages ago, but I do remember that i really enjoyed it!
