New kindle.......book recommendations please

I have just got my prime day treat through and wondered if anyone could recommend a few books as I am terrible at online book shopping....I like contemporary fiction......Kate Atkinson, David Mitchell, Margaret Atwood......those sort of things.....any suggestions please?

Alice Hoffman, Donna Tartt, Barbara Kingsolver all favourites of mine. I also loved Station 11 recently, by Emily St John Mandel.

Just noticed Barbara Kingsolver wrote the lacuna wwhich I read a while ago, I really enjoyed that. The poison wood bible rings a bell but can't remember if I read it....mush for brains!

Poisonwood bible is in my top ten all time best books, definitely read it if you haven't already!
