I'm transfixed. Inclines me to join a book group.

Fantastic and very enlightening, I couldn't put it down. She has written another since, it's on my wish list

I'll look for that.

I love the way each defector has a moment of realisation that they have been sold a lie. I've read it three times.

I read it a couple of years ago. Was eye opening. I had no idea people were forced to live like that. I found it engrossing and often so upsetting I had to stop reading. So much suffering and cruelty.

It's been quite a popular book on here - non fiction doesn't get as much traffic as fiction

I read it after seeing a recommendation on here. Found it fascinating and very well-written.

Project, I read that next. And Dear Leader, the Jon Sweney one (don't bother; watch the youtube panorama), escape from camp something, the perfection one by an ambassador (don't bother), the Orphan Master's Son (harrowing but fictional).
