Has anyone read this? What do you think?

I borrowed it from the library & didn't think that it was well written & it did seem a little OTT. However have since bought a copy for ex-OH for xmas in the hope he will tell me if any of it is true or not!

More of it is true than you would want to think! And compared to what goes on it was toned down.

lol. Ex-OH has told me some tales of cheating & dodgy behavious that goes on on stopovers.

One of the reviews I read said that flight crew will hate it unless the public took it with a pinch of salt so I wasn't totally sure if it was just OTT!

I worked as a passenger services agent and the things that went on, I am sure non of the passengers would have wanted to know! Compared to what went on with flight crew though, they were good fun though. Always good for some mischief, especially over the passengers.

I am aware that when I walk into an aiport that the staff are thinking in terms of 'herds.' And that is the kindest thing. Once dts have been in school a couple of years and dh's shifts have settled I am going back, I miss the fun!

I'll have to remember to behave myself & not be a stroppy customer next time I fly then!

I dread to think what herd I'd be in :-S

When I was younger I'd have loved to be a pilot - still would kind of although the training is rather expensive!

I've read this and found some of the things that went on made sense, and made me chuckle- I always wondered why all the typing went on when all you neeed was a seat, and I found the flight crew's silent revenge funny.

Wasn't the best written of books, but went down easily.
