I have just seen this mentioned on another thread. I have read the book but I cannot for the life of me remember how it ends. Could anyone give me a quick synopsis - including the end.

I think (it's been ages) that they did NOT kill the little girl - it was an accident

And the rich girl was the one that ended up with the shit life - and I think she was abused as a child

Thanks From - I've forgotten about her being abused. Might have to reread last chapter.
