Just finished it. Made it all the way through. Read the extra info bit at the end and cried buckets. Had no idea what goes inside a bee hive.

Has any one else read it? I started off thinking it was a futuristic half-bee/half-human world.

I started it. I struggled and gave up. Is it worth persevering with?

woowoo22 · 20/05/2015 19:09

Yes, definitely! Aftrr the first few chapters it settles down and gets really good, you can picture everying whereas up to that point it is a bit unclear/all over the place.

This book is sitting on my bedside table for when I've finished the one I'm currently reading. When I paid for it at the bookshop the woman on the till said people are raving about it so I hope I like it!

Hope you do, it is really weird and beautiful and the kind of book where you imagine everything in your head in super duper technicolour Grin

I downloaded the free sample but couldn't get into it, it seemed like a teenagers sci-fi book so I didn't bother downloading the rest - does it get better?

woowoo22 · 30/05/2015 05:56

Yes, the start is very weird and too much too soon/confusing. Then it gets really good Smile

I really want to read this, it's on my wishlist and I'm waiting for the price to go down. Glad to hear it is so brilliant.

I didn't find it confusing but it just seemed aimed at a young reader not an adult book, maybe if some lent me it I'd try again but I'm not tempted to buy it
