Took this out from my library this week after reading a rave review last month in the Sunday Times. Has anyone read it? I see it's been in the hardback fiction top 10 for quite a while.

I haven't but after reading the review I have added it to my very long list of books to be read. Thanks

Which one do you mean? There are two books with that title on Amazon and they both look worth reading - is it the one about the baby surviving the plane crash, or the one about the man whose wife and son are killed in a car crash?

Sorry I see that you put the author in the title - Doh!

It's the plane crash one.

I have this on my holiday reading list so it will be a few weeks before I get to it, but I've read good things about it and really looking forward to reading it. It has an air of being something more than yer average thriller.

Sadly, I felt this was very average and I'm glad I didn't pay for it. Some of the writing was at times terrible - childish and clichéd. The concept was good, but the execution was mediocre. I also felt there were a few too many twists

I can't recommend this Sad

Oh no, how disappointing! Another case of hype over reality ... I will cross it off the holiday reading list as I want to spend my week reading nothing but brilliant books! Thanks for the warning southeastdweller
