Trying to remember a book - help please?

When I was a kid I used to read a great series of books and would like to get them for my dd - but can't rememeber author or book titles!

They were about 2 brothers who travelled the world capturing animals for their fatehr's zoo (not very pc I know). But the amount of detail about the animals and their environment were incredible. A lot of the books were set in Africa, one in the Amazon, maybe one in India. I think one of the brothers was called Hal and maybe the other was Will?

Thanks for that - just had a look on Amazon and it brought some memories back. Bit dissapointed that my favourite one - Elephant Adventure is £65 though!!!

ohh yes, I used to love these!
they were a bit like Gerald Durrell writing about animals, but much more dashing and exciting.
