I read a book about 3 years ago, which I thought was very good. I must have lent it to someone because I now can't find it, but want to reread it.
It was set - I think - in Yorkshire, and the narrator was a teenage boy who persuaded a girl to run away with him. But he turns out to be an unreliable narrator and it become unclear if he's actually kidnapping the girl instead.
I think the author might have had the first name of Ross.
Any ideas?
