Kazuo Ishiguro's The Buried Giant - anyone read it or started it yet?

I've enjoyed a few of his other novels, but have read mixed reviews of this one.

Has anyone any thoughts or opinions on it yet? It seems to be in a different style to some of his others, not that I mind.

Perhaps the hardback should be a Mother's Day present to myself??

Hi everyone!

Lovely to read all your comments on The Buried Giant - Kazuo is joining us for a webchat on Thurs 9th April 9-10pm, it would be great if you could continue your discussion on the webchat thread -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/book_of_the_month/2316577-Come-and-chat-to-KAZUO-ISHIGURO-about-his-extraordinary-writing-career-on-Thurs-9-April-9-10pm

I hope you can all join on the night, I think it'll be a really interesting discussion - it's about all of his books, so feel free to talk about Never Let Me Go, Remains Of The Day and so on

Thanks, see you on the night!
