I've bought books from Sainsbury ebooks. You can. download onto a Kobo or similar ereader but not a kindle.

duchess I assume you mean the books are in ePub format? There are converters to change them into mobi. That can be copied onto the kindle.

Look at a ebook manager like calibre.
