Can anyone help me with this book

Hello all

I read this book around 12years ago,I had borrowed it off an old work colleague who I have no contact with now.

Vague recollection of the store was that there was a bronze aged boy who had been frozen, he was then 'defrosted' and lived with a family for a while, but the purpose of him being unfrozen was to be medical help to one of the family who was seriously ill. If I remember rightly the mum of the family worked at the uni/museum where the boy had been frozen. There was lots of moral discussion around freezing/dna and all sorts, and may or may not have ended in a court case.

I seem to remember the title having 'bronze'in it but may have made that up as struggle to find anything!

The book really stuck with me and would love to read again.

Does anyone have any clue?

Thanks!

Register with abebooks.co.uk, not the US site, and post a query in their BookSleuth forum. Read the advice on wording your post first. They are brilliant at solving these mysteries.

No help to you at all because I don't know what book it is.

But the way you've described it makes it sounds like the plot of a Jodi Picoult book and her 'what would you do' tag lines.

You work in a museum, you need to defrost the bronze age boy and harvest his organs to save the family dog. What would you do?

Sorry. Hijack over. I hope you track it down OP, it sounds interesting. Can you let us know what it's called when you find it?

Not same book but plot has similrities with 'Never Let Me Go' by Kazuo Ishiguro

Another random thing i remember is that the book was paperback, white cover with blue writing on the right hand side and a sort of sketch of the boy as well
