I enjoyed these books. I like to read a series where the characters become familiar.

Any suggestions?

Have you read Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series? There are 21 of them now, beginning with One For The Money.

LeBearPolar · 18/01/2015 21:13

Yes, Stephanie Plum series is great.

were u disappointed how she ended the series? I was v annoyed seemed very forced and not how I expected it to go - I preferred how true blood played out rather than the books which is quite rare for me!

but you must read kelley Armstrong women of the otherworld series - its fantastic each book is centered around a different supernatural character but all interlink throughout the books. theres 13 in total but she has written loads of short stories aswell so able to get your fix Grin

theres laurell k hamilton - Anita blake series first few are great but the later ones are terrible unless u are into mass cringeworthy orgies but I still reserve them at the library and moan afterwards!

an older one but anne rice - vampire chronicles. I quite like lestat and enjoyed reading all the vampires stories.

keri arthur - riley jenson series I enjoyed. she writes other series aswell.

Suzanne mcleod - spellcrackers series - not very well known but I really enjoyed it.

cant think of any other ongoing series at the moment but love the supernatural genre so have read loads of different books!!! if u want some more I can dig out my 'what I've read' book Grin

Nocuts - yes the ending was all a bit convenient.

I second Kelley Armstrong women of the otherworld (did you know there is a TV show in production?), they are great!

Marmite27 · 20/01/2015 21:33

Yes to most of these!

I love Reily Jenson and Anita Blake (agree about the later ones!)

I liked the Fever books too. Plus JR Wards Blackdagger Brotherhood books.

GothMummy · 20/01/2015 21:36

Definately Kelly Armstrong! Im finding Ker Arthur too much like Laurell K Hamilton with the cringeworthy sex!

justbatteringon · 21/01/2015 19:26

Go on goodreads that's where I find new books.

EustaciaVye · 22/01/2015 20:24

Kim Harrison's series "The Hollows" is good. The first one is "Dead Witch Walking".

lucysnowe · 31/01/2015 15:56

Not a series but Sunshine by Robin McKinley - the main character is v. likeable and there are vampires!

Marcelinewhyareyousomean · 01/02/2015 20:00

Girl in a Box series Robert J Crane. books 1 to 3 is currently free for kindle. There are 10 in the first set and #3 has just come out in the second.

I also liked S M Reine books - also lots of them.

MyIronLung · 02/02/2015 15:55

The Aurora Teagarden books by Charlaine Harris are good fun.
