Is it worth reading Isabel Allende's The Infinite Plan?

I loved House of the Spirits, Eva Luna and those other ones whose titles escape me, but I've got half way through the first chapter of this and I don't care. Should I persevere?

It must be about 15 years since I read it so I can't do a very good job convincing, but I do remember really enjoying it. It's a really good story as all her books are. I even read bloody Zorro fgs, just because it was written by IA!! It was also really good!

I couldn't get into "The Infinite Plan" but enjoyed everything ese she's written - yes, even Zorro! I think Paula (non-fiction) is the best thing she's written though - it is an amazing book, as I've said on here before. Her biography is good too - My something country - can't remember what it's called but fascinating.

my invented country was the memoir, yes really good, very readable

Hi

I'm new onto books, but just wanted to add that I thought Paula, which I read recently, by accident, was brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I cried soooo much.

deaconblue · 10/11/2006 13:51

yes yes yes but then I've loved everything she's ever written
