Bought it for £3.99 in Peterborough yesterday and read the first 2 chapters - absolutely hooked.

HRHQOQ, whats it all about & why is it so good?

winnie - it's his Autobiography - actually it's more like a book of his memories. If you're interested in World Affairs it's really fascinating reading his first hand accounts of stuff that really has shaped our world (he was in Afghanistan when the Soviets invaded, Iran during the revolution, Iran/Iraq during their war, Poland when it was still communist - but not long before it fell). I love his reporting on TV and his writing is just as vivid,.

(I'm not very good at book reviews - always got D's and E's for them at school....hence the reason I don't really post on this topic ).
