I read a fantastic short story last night here it is..

By Michael Faber (he of Crimson Petal and the White), it is in his book of short stories, The Farenheit Twins. Not sure why but it really did it for me.

Clever the way he plays about with different timescales into the future. It's unsettling - makes you wonder what's coming your way too.
