Can anyone help me recall the title of a (possibly Ladybird) book that I remember being read at least 25 years ago.
It is about a puppy named mick or mickey who saves a family from burning in their house even though his crap owners (grumpy fart 'father') shut him out at night.
There is mention of the word 'eiderdown' in it - which really sticks in my mind. Not sure of the significance of the eiderdown - perhaps none.
Anyway, I wnat to try and track this book down for silly sentimental reasons.
