I feel like reading something about Christmas or set at Christmas or something like that. Any recommendations?

I did read A Christmas Carol a few years ago. I'll have a look at Miss Read.

If you like gentle tales of old-fashioned England then she will appeal.

Really short, so good for a quiet few minutes with a glass of wine or a coffee: Dylan Thomas's A Child's Christmas in Wales. I try to read it each Christmas Eve.

I saw a copy of it the other day at our local bookshop, a tiny book, perfect for keeping.
